Grace Kabeya

Grace Kabeya is an account manager at Wattpad. Prior to their current position, Kabeya worked as a content manager for accounts and partnerships at Wattpad WEBTOON Studios. There, they managed accounts and curated content for Studio partners in the publishing and entertainment industries, including Penguin Random House UK, Hachette, Audible, CBC, Bell Media and more.

Before their time at Wattpad WEBTOON Studios, Kabeya worked as an assistant to the editor-in-chief at McClelland & Stewart and Doubleday Canada/Vice President of Penguin Random House Canada. In this role, they provided executive editorial support to the editor-in-chief, including substantive editing, copyediting, proofreading, executing editorial letters, shadow editing, sensitivity reads and in-depth readers' reports.

Kabeya has also worked as a researcher at Penguin Random House Canada and as a books and editorial intern at Blake Friedmann Literary, Film & TV Agency. In addition, they have experience as a special project coordinator, which they gained during their time at Kate'Art Editions.

After completing a Master's degree in Publishing at Simon Fraser University, Grace Kabeya pursued a Bachelor of Arts in English and Management at the University of Exeter. Grace then completed a Bachelor's degree in International Management Erasmus Exchange Programme at EM Normandie Business School.
