Olusheyi Lawoyin

Chief Operating Officer at Watts Healthcare

Olusheyi (Sheyi) Lawoyin is the Chief Operations Officer at Watts Healthcare Corporation (WHCC), where she is responsible for the day to day operating activities and provides executive leadership for advancing the Watts Healthcare Corporation, with an operating budget of more than $40 million.

Prior to her appointment, she led Patient-Centered Medical Home and Lean care transformation at Clinica Sierra Vista, a network of integrated community health centers, serving the primary medical, dental and behavioral health needs of about 200,000 individuals in Kern, Fresno, and Inyo counties. Prior to this, she was the Director of Operations at a Community Health Center in Northern California and worked in operations and planning with Emory Healthcare and Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

With a background in global and community health, she has been a United States Peace Corps volunteer with the Namibian Ministry of Health and Social Services; managed the health portfolio for the Public Affairs Section of the US Consulate General in Lagos, Nigeria; provided program and research support at the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies, and served as an ASPH/CDC Global Health Fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Sheyi received an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and an MPH from George Washington University’s School of Public Health and Health Services.
