Victor Getenya

Victor Getenya has a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience in various leadership roles in well-known companies. Victor started their career in 2003 as a Regional Sales Manager at Coca Cola Nairobi Bottlers Ltd and went on to hold positions such as Country Sales Manager at Coca Cola Kwanza and National Sales Manager at Reckitt Benckiser. Victor then served as the General Sales Manager at Coastal Bottlers Limited and later became the General Manager at REACH LOGISTICS KENYA LIMITED. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Head of Sales and Marketing at Highlands Mineral Water Company. Victor then joined Coca-Cola Beverages Africa as the Sales & Marketing Capability Excellence Manager, International Division. Victor further gained experience as the Sales & Marketing Director at Coca Cola Beverages Africa in Kenya. Most recently, they worked as the Sales Director at Coca Cola Beverages Zambia and is currently serving as the Head of Sales Marketing at Watu Credit since April 2023.

Victor Getenya earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, completing their studies from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended Aquinas High School in Nairobi, where they obtained their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
