Kaitlyn Zimmer-Henning has extensive experience in the education and child care sectors, currently serving as a Special Education Paraeducator at Waukee Community Schools since August 2011 and as a Respite Provider since March 2014 at The Respite Connection. Additionally, Kaitlyn has worked at the YMCA of Greater Des Moines since August 2005 in various roles, including Learn & Play Center Employee and Learn & Play Site Supervisor, where responsibilities included supervising activities and maintaining operational standards. Previous experience includes working as a Child Care Provider with Iowa State University Extensions and as a Sales Associate at Build-A-Bear Workshop. Kaitlyn holds an Associate's Degree in Human Services and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Des Moines Area Community College, as well as a high school diploma from Waukee Community School District.
