Melissa Richardson has extensive experience in education and project management, currently serving as a 6th-grade science teacher, a 7th-grade math and science teacher, and a substitute teacher at Waukee Community School District since August 2021. Prior roles include teaching 5th grade at Norfolk Middle School and project management positions at Volt and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Before transitioning into education, Melissa worked for nearly a decade as an industrial engineer at Tyson Foods. Melissa holds a Master of Education in STEM Education from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University, alongside degrees in Business and Industrial Engineering. Currently, Melissa is focused on maintaining an efficient household while supporting Jase and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education to prepare for a new career in the coming years.
