Stephanie Demeester

Stephanie DeMeester is a dedicated educator with a strong background in social studies and physical education, currently serving as a 9th Grade Modern World History Teacher at Waukee Community School District since August 2022. Prior experience includes teaching roles at Southeast Warren Community School, where responsibilities encompassed Social Studies and Physical Education for grades 7-12, and at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD as a High School Social Studies Teacher. Stephanie has also worked as a long-term substitute teacher in multiple districts, implementing lesson plans and assessing student understanding across various subjects and grade levels. In addition to teaching, Stephanie has contributed as Head Large Group Speech Coach at Norwalk Community School District, showcasing leadership and organizational skills. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in All-Social Studies and a Bachelor's degree in History Education from the University of Northern Iowa, further solidifying expertise in the field.
