Curt Schmidt

Curt Schmidt has a strong background in human resources, with over 30 years of experience. Curt is currently the Director of Human Resources at Wausau Supply Company since June 2019. Prior to this, they held the same role at A&B Process Systems, a business unit of JBT Corporation, from April 2015 to April 2019. Curt has also served as the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources at Wausau Paper from October 2009 to October 2014, where they were responsible for directing all human resources activities of the corporation. Before that, they held various positions at Wausau Paper, including Vice President of Human Resources - Printing & Writing and Director of Human Resources. Curt started their career as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Paper Converting Machine Co. in December 1980, where they were responsible for various human resources activities.

Curt Schmidt received a Master's degree in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980. In addition to their degree, they hold a certification as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) which they obtained in December 2015, and a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute-HRCI.
