Stefan Arentz

Stefan Arentz is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in security engineering, software development, and team leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Security Engineer at Wavelo since June 2023, Stefan previously held the position of Security Engineering Manager at Aiven, where leadership of a team of security engineers and interim management of the Product Security team were key responsibilities. Stefan has a long tenure at Mozilla, contributing as a Senior Engineering Manager and being a founding team member of Firefox for iOS, along with roles focused on security tools and mobile software engineering. Additional experience includes software development at Arentz Consulting, board membership at Hacklab.TO, contract roles at Kobo Inc. and Mozilla Labs, leadership in architecture at Polar Rose, co-founding Organic Network ApS, and volunteer work for the Blender Foundation.
