Leong Charlie

Charlie supports the internal and external events and initiatives at Wavemaker Partners. She facilitates community building between founders and stakeholders through events, programs, and workshops, and plays a role in the planning and execution of small, mid, and large-scale events in multiple markets (Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam).

Charlie first started working with small-producing creative artisans in Vietnam and Thailand under the supervision of the ASEAN Foundation, where she sourced and maintained meaningful partnerships between the communities and businesses. She then did a short stint with the United Nations Global Compact Network in Singapore, organizing sustainability-themed events such as the inaugural GCNS Youth Summit and Apex Corporate Sustainability Awards.
