Sergio Del Rio

Sergio Del Rio has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sergio started their career at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro as a Professor, teaching technology and design courses. Sergio then transitioned to working as a Project Manager at Jobyal.com, a remote job platform. Sergio later joined Fábrica Ecológica as the Commercial Director, where they founded a company that creates glass cups from recycled glass bottles while employing individuals with motor disabilities. Sergio also represented Mexico at the SIFE world competition for social enterprises. Sergio then joined Mabe as a UI/UX Leader, where they were responsible for designing various appliances and leading the user interface design for the 2015 product generation. Sergio also implemented digital marketing strategies and coordinated commercial activities. Currently, Sergio works at Waverly Labs, initially as the Director of Design Engineering and later as the VP of Products. Their experience at Waverly Labs involves overseeing product development and leading the design team.

Sergio Del Rio attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Design. In 2012, they also attended Singularity University briefly, completing the Graduate Studies Program (GSP) in Exponential Technologies.
