Akhil Mathew

Akhil Mathew is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in analytics and software engineering. Currently serving as a Data Science Research Specialist at Wawa, Inc. since May 2024, Akhil has held significant roles including Lead Data Scientist at Macy's from August 2021 to March 2024 and Senior Data Scientist at Target from August 2016 to July 2021. Prior experience includes a Business Analyst Intern position at Carlson School of Management and various technical roles at Accenture, where contributions included SAP CRM and Business Intelligence projects for clients such as Mercedes Benz South Africa. Akhil holds a Master's Degree in Business Analytics from UMN Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation from the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
