Balagopal K S has over 15 years of experience in the mobile and web industry. Balagopal started their career in 2004 as a Senior Software Engineer at DeviceDriven, where they developed mobile applications for Siemens Mobile and Nokia. Balagopal was recognized as a Forum Nokia Champion in 2006 and 2007. In 2007, Balagopal co-founded MobileMonday Trivandrum, an open community platform of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influential individuals. Balagopal then worked as a Manager of Developer Relations (Emerging Markets) at Vodafone Developer Program & Apps Store, where they built the program and app store in India, South Africa, Egypt, Qatar, Lesotho and Tanzania. From 2012 to 2015, Balagopal was a Technology Expert at Nokia Developer Program, APAC, providing consultancy and solutions for technical issues. In 2015, they became the DGM - Head of Strategic Alliances at Jio, where they onboarded 100+ key partners and worked with 200+ partners nationally and internationally. Since 2019, Balagopal has been a Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Head of India Development Center at Way.com, successfully onboarding over 200 partners.

Balagopal K S has a varied educational background, having studied Petro Chemicals, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Symbian C++, and Mobile Applications Development. Balagopal obtained a Bachelor of Science in Petro Chemicals from Mahatma Gandhi University between 1999 and 2001. Balagopal then went on to pursue a Masters in Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University between 2001 and 2004. In 2006 and 2007, they completed a Nokia Developer Diploma, obtaining a Diploma in Mobile Applications Development. Finally, they earned an Accredited Symbian Developer (ASD) from Symbian in 2007 and 2008.
