David Pena has worked in the insurance industry since 2003. David began their career as an Insurance Agent at Insurance Depot. In 2014, they were promoted to Zone Manager at Amax Auto Insurance, where they were responsible for ensuring all required tasks for all locations were carried out by all employees in their designated zone. In 2019, they took on two roles - Field Recruiter at Amax Auto Insurance and Office Manager at Farmers Insurance. Later that year, they were promoted to District Manager at LA Insurance, where they were responsible for managing and directing a sales force to achieve sales goals within their region. In 2020, they joined Aetna, a CVS Health Company, as a CSR, Medicare Service Ops, where they managed customer accounts, conducted customer service issues, and resolved customer issues. Most recently, they began working as a Call Center Sales Manager at Way.com in 2021.

David Pena completed an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Remington College-Houston Campus in 2005, and a Diploma from National Institute of Technology in 2004.
