Frasia Kamau

Frasia Kamau is the current Chief Accounting Officer at Wayapay. Prior to this, they worked as a Bank Officer for Diamond Trust Bank, one of the largest banks in East Africa. Her responsibilities included developing the branch’s retail clientele base, developing and implementing sales strategies and campaigns, and conducting branch product trainings. Frasia has also worked as a Project/Finance Manager for Badili Africa, a civil society organization based in Nairobi, Kenya that encourages and supports spaces that enable grassroots women and young women in universities and urban informal settlements to organize as leaders and participate in local development initiatives. In addition, they have also worked as a Data Analyst for Research Hub Africa Limited and as an Intern in the Research & Internal Audit Departments for Mwalimu National sacco.

Frasia Kamau has a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi. Frasia also has a certificate in Data Science Specialisation from Coursera. Lastly, they have a KCSE in Secondary Education from Machakos Girls' High School.
