Matt Spolar (Spo)

Matt Bryant Spolar, also known as Spo, currently serves as the Director of Product Design at Wayflyer since January 2023 and is an Adjunct Professor of Design at Ohio University, teaching courses on Digital Design and Product Development since 2012. Previously, Matt held the position of Head Of Design at Legl from November 2019 to January 2023, where Matt built and scaled a high-performing Product Design team and collaborated across multiple departments to align design strategies with business goals. Earlier experiences include roles as a Senior Product Designer at Masabi, where Matt established a comprehensive design system, and as Founder & Head of Design at Suede Brands LLC. Matt's career began in web development at STERIS Corporation and includes diverse international experience as an English Teacher in Thailand. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications from Ohio University.
