Serhii Hrekov

Serhii Hrekov is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and leadership roles within tech startups. Currently serving as a Backend Software Engineer at Waylight since April 2023, Serhii specializes in EdTech solutions utilizing AWS, FastAPI, and Python. Prior experience includes leading the development of a fintech application at ProxiPago while managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Additionally, Serhii has worked as a self-employed Python Developer, focusing on various projects for NDA clients and acquiring skills in chatbots and web scrapers, along with freelancing as a Social Media Marketing Specialist and WordPress Developer. Serhii holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Odessa National Polytechnic University.
