Annabel R. Chang

Annabel R. Chang currently serves as the Director and Head of State Policy & Government Affairs at Waymo since August 2020. In addition, Annabel holds the position of Vice Chair/Treasurer on the Executive Committee of the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association while also advising for Packsmith. Previously, Annabel was a founding member of Chief, a network aimed at elevating women in leadership, and held the role of Vice President for Alaska Airlines in the Bay Area, overseeing regional growth strategies. Annabel's extensive experience in public policy includes significant roles at Lyft, where Annabel directed public policy efforts across multiple western states, and earlier legal positions as an Assistant District Attorney in San Francisco and a Litigation Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP. Annabel holds a JD from Washington University in St. Louis and a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley, alongside executive education from Stanford and language immersion at National Taiwan University.
