David Antonio Laidig

David Antonio Laidig is a seasoned technical writer with extensive experience in documenting and guiding technology projects. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Writer at Waymo since September 2022, Laidig focuses on internal developer documentation. Previously, at Google, Laidig led documentation efforts for Anthos Multi-Cloud products while managing documentation for new offerings like Migrate for Compute Engine and Config Connector from September 2018 to September 2022. Prior roles include consulting for Transitdata.net, systems engineering management at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and technical analysis in transit technologies. Laidig holds a Master of Science in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
