Pierre Kreitmann

Pierre Kreitmann is a Principal Software Engineer (Director) at Waymo since June 2020, leading the freeway driving initiative and previously serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer focused on autonomous trucks. Prior to Waymo, Pierre Kreitmann spent over eight years at Google, working as a Senior Staff Software Engineer on YouTube recommendations and content quality. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer Intern role at Microsoft, conducting research for Bing, and serving as a Research Assistant at Damas Lab, Laval University, focusing on POMDPs with model uncertainty. Pierre Kreitmann holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from École Polytechnique.
