Yijing Bai

Yijing Bai is a Staff Software Engineer at Waymo, leading efforts to develop advanced systems for generating and simulating realistic environments for driver evaluation and validation using cutting-edge technologies. Previously, Yijing worked at Google for over five years, holding roles from Software Engineer II to Senior Software Engineer, where contributions included the development of the Assistant Evaluation Infrastructure and various tools to enhance assistant evaluation fidelity. Prior to Google, Yijing had experience at Baidu, where significant improvements were made in advertisement report systems and historical data management. Yijing holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Security from Tianjin University of Technology, complemented by an exchange program at UC Berkeley.
