Patricia Perez Fresard

Patricia Perez Fresard serves as the Chief Judge at Wayne County Third Circuit Court since January 2023, while also holding the position of Presiding Judge for the Civil Division of the 3rd Circuit Judicial Court since 2016. With a background as a 3rd Circuit Judge at Wayne County Circuit Court since January 1999, Patricia has experience presiding over various civil suits as well as major felony trials, including cases of murder, carjacking, and rape. Patricia holds two Juris Doctor degrees from Michigan State University College of Law and Detroit College of Law, both earned between 1983 and 1986.
