Claas Eicke Kuhnen

Claas Eicke Kuhnen is an Associate Professor of Teaching and Area Coordinator for Interior Design at Wayne State University since September 2011. Kuhnen has developed a modern curriculum that emphasizes user-experience and human-centered design, integrating aspects of interior, architecture, and industrial design. With a strong focus on research and interdisciplinary approaches, Kuhnen teaches courses in interior and industrial design, digital workflows, and has experience as a founder of studioKuhnen, where innovative, boundary-pushing design solutions are developed. Previous roles include positions at 2B Studio Inc., Intel Corporation, and Kendall College of Art and Design, as well as significant involvement in game design projects. Kuhnen holds a Master of Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University and a Dipl. Des from HAWK - University of Applied Science and Arts.
