Emily Kapnick

Emily Kapnick is currently a Graduate Student at Wayne State University, pursuing a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching. Emily gained experience as a Substitute Teacher with Edustaff and worked as a Front Desk Receptionist and Sales Associate at AKT Franchise, where responsibilities included managing front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming environment. Previous roles include being a Youth Suicide Prevention Training Specialist at Gryphon Place, serving as a Youth Development Professional and Theatre/Drama Instructor at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kalamazoo, and working as a Server at Devils Lake Yacht Club. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Theatre from Western Michigan University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the same institution. Emily's educational journey began with a high school diploma from Adrian High School.
