Leslie Carmona

Leslie Carmona, CFRE, currently serves as the Senior Director of Donor Experience and Individual Giving at Wayne State University since October 2015, previously holding the title of Director of Donor and Alumni Relations. Prior experience includes Development Specialist and Walk Coordinator at the Humane Society of Broward County, Development Specialist at Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, and various roles at Michigan State University's Asian Studies Center, including Development and Programming Coordinator and Public Relations and Event Coordinator. Additional experience encompasses an internship at the Governor's Residence, a Development Intern position at Sparrow Foundation, and a Riding Director role at the University of Michigan Alumni Family Camp. Leslie holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Michigan, an MA in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University, and a certification in Fundraising Management from The School of Fundraising at Indiana University.
