Mary Saleem

Mary Saleem is currently a Research Assistant at Wayne State University School of Medicine, engaged in a project focused on minimizing neuropathic pain in patients with Multiple Sclerosis. In addition to research, Mary serves as a Biology and Organic Chemistry Tutor at Wayne State University, where tutoring sessions enhance student comprehension and study skills. As President of Timmy Global Health's Wayne State Chapter, Mary leads initiatives aligning with the organization’s mission and values. Previously, Mary held roles as a Medical Scribe at SUDAD LOUIS MD PLLC, documenting patient interactions, and as a Nursing Assistant at Beaumont Health, where patient care was delivered under the guidance of Registered Nurses. Mary is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences with honors and pre-med focus at Wayne State University, expected to graduate in May 2024.
