Jaclyn Y.

Jaclyn (Jax) Y. is a skilled educator and technology specialist currently serving as a Digital Art & Design Teacher at Wayne-Westland Community Schools since December 2023. Previously, Jaclyn held the position of Art Teacher and Fine Arts & Photography Lead at Detroit 90/90 from July 2018 to December 2023. With a background in technology, Jaclyn worked as a Technology Coordinator at the Henry Ford Learning Institute and spent nearly a decade at Apple in various technical and customer support roles, including Expert and AppleCare Service Trainer. Earlier career experiences include a role as a Professional Stitcher in the Theatre Department at the University of Michigan. Jaclyn holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Michigan State University.
