Laura Vizcaíno

Laura Vizcaíno is a Telecom Engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently at Wayru since May 2022, Laura focuses on the rise and implementation of Internet Service Provider solutions utilizing GPON technology, server setup for network monitoring in AWS, and management of various network equipment. Previously, Laura served as a NOC Operator at Puntonet S.A. from February 2021 to May 2022, providing monitoring and support for backbone networks and troubleshooting incidents involving wireless and GPON technologies. Laura also worked at Huawei as an Applications and Software Assistant in mid-2020, concentrating on network configuration and analysis. Earlier experience includes a role at Banco Central del Ecuador as a TI Assistant, addressing technical support incidents and configuring IT equipment. Laura holds a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Escuela Politécnica Nacional, achieved between 2013 and 2020.
