This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract until April 2025

Waystone is looking to hire an Associate to take on an investor relations and client servicing role within the Investment Solutions business, the active asset raising division of Waystone. The core objective of the role will be to manage, service and build relationships with both investors and investment managers. This will provide an individual exposure to many areas of a highly motivated fund sales team including functions such as investor relations, marketing, events, business management and team co-ordination. The role will see you working within a dynamic team but with the ability to take ownership of your work and make a meaningful difference to the team and relationships with stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client relationship management:
    • Investment Managers: To work closely with our investment manager partners to meet mutual asset raising objectives. This will include, but not limited to, roadshow co-ordination, marketing material delivery, investor requests/meeting coordination, marketing initiatives and sales team activity reporting.
    • Investors: To support and answer investor clients. This will include responding to investor requests and servicing of clients in a timely and effective manner.
    • The role will require responsiveness and support to all stakeholders: investment managers, investors and the Sales team.
  • Investor Relations: to support queries relating to:
    • Country registration and passporting
    • Distribution platform set ups and relationship building with regional platforms.
    • Distribution platform network.
    • Data dissemination across key databases.
    • Conducting & delivering investor due diligence requests.
    • Build and update marketing materials.
    • Draft, co-ordinate and implement distribution agreements.
    • Support investor rebate implementation.
    • Work closely with the Client Services team, Sales team and internal business units to respond to queries and build personal knowledge.
  • Marketing, Events & PR
    • Support marketing campaigns and marketing materials for the team and work on creating new content across traditional and digital marketing media.
    • Support and manage physical and virtual events for the team.
    • Engage in new marketing angles for our business and funds. This will include developing knowledge on underlying investment strategies, investment managers expertise and their peer group.
    • Conduct data analysis on marketing campaigns and identify areas of improvement and success.
  • Business management, team co-ordination and reporting
    • Work on collecting and compiling Sales team asset raising data for the Board and team reports.

    • Allocate fund flows and clients across our suite of funds

    • Work closely and become an integral member of a dynamic Sales team

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelors’ degree level

Experience:

1 - 2 years’ experience in working with clients and with exposure to alternative UCITS and AIFs, ideally within an Investor Relations or Client Relations team for an asset manager or fund service provider.

  • Solid computer skills, particularly in Salesforce or a similar CRM system, Excel and PowerPoint.
