Tania Siegmund

Tania Siegmund has extensive work experience in operational risk management and business management. Tania currently holds the position of Head of Operational Risk & Business Management at Waystone, where they oversee the Luxembourg OPS Risk & Business Management team. Prior to this, they worked at MDO Management Company, a DMS Group Company, as the Head of Operational Risk & Business Management for almost seven years. In this role, they were responsible for quality and control management, implementing operational risk oversight infrastructure, and creating risk awareness within the firm. Tania also has experience working at Morgan Stanley as an OPS Risk and Business Manager for the Luxembourg Branch, as well as a Senior Client Services role. Tania has also worked as a teacher at Escola da Armada, Rota Jovem, Clube de Pessoal da EDP, and Escola Secundária Professor Ruy Luís Gomes, where they taught various subjects including Portuguese, English, German, and literature.

Tania Siegmund has a strong education background in language and literature. Tania began their educational journey in 1996 at the University of Lisbon, where they obtained a Licence degree in Portuguese and German Languages and Literature, which they completed in 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Didactic and Pedagogy on Portuguese and German Languages and Literature at the same university from 2001 to 2003. Tania then continued their studies at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where they completed a Post-graduate program in Text Edition/Publishing between 2003 and 2005. Overall, Tania Siegmund's education has equipped their with a comprehensive understanding of language, literature, and editorial processes.
