Samson Idowu

Samson Idowu has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Samson began their career at MultiChoice Group in 2018, where they worked as an IT Technician and later as a Customer Service Representative. During this time, they provided technical support to end users, maintained user management systems, and contributed to successful marketing campaigns. In 2019, Samson joined Zeta-Web Nigeria Limited as a Technical Support Engineer, where they ensured patch compliance, provided technical support to customers, and performed proactive network monitoring. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at Hardcore Biometric Systems as an Infrastructure Security Engineer, focusing on security monitoring and improvement of vulnerability assessments. In 2022, Samson transitioned to Innopolis University as a Security Researcher. Currently, they are employed as a Security Engineer at Wazuh, Inc., starting in 2023. Overall, Samson Idowu has gained experience in various aspects of IT, security, customer service, and technical support throughout their career.

Samson Idowu began their education in 2011 at the University of Uyo, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Samson completed their studies in 2016. In 2022, they enrolled at Innopolis University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Security and Network Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Samson has obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2020, they achieved the Oracle Financials Cloud Solution Engineer Specialist and Oracle Project Portfolio Management Cloud Solution Engineer Specialist certifications from Oracle. In 2021, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certifications from Microsoft. In 2022, they obtained the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate and Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate certifications from Fortinet. Lastly, they achieved the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 3: Certified Associate certification from Fortinet in April 2022.
