Tom Thrasher

Tom Thrasher, PE, currently serves as the Associate Director of Engineering and Senior Associate at WB Engineers+Consultants, a position held since May 2018, following a series of roles including Senior Engineer and Project Engineer within the same company. Prior to this, Tom worked as an Electrical Engineer at ads Engineers from June 2012 to April 2018. Tom's leadership experience includes serving as President of the IEEE - Virginia Tech Student Chapter from August 2011 to August 2012, where responsibilities included managing events and supporting fellow officers. Earlier in Tom's career, an Electrical Engineering Internship was undertaken at Lawrence Perry and Associates in the summer of 2011. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2012.
