Kari Burgess

Kari Burgess has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kari began their career in 1999 as a Heritage Interpreter - Bilingual at Parks Canada, where they worked until 2003. Kari then joined Meewasin Valley Authority as a Heritage Interpreter from 2004 to 2005. Kari later moved on to Tourism Saskatchewan, where they held various positions including Training Assistant from 2009 to 2012, Account Representative (Bilingual) from 2012 to 2019, and Workforce Development Consultant - Training from 2019 to 2022. Recently, Kari joined WBM Technologies in 2023 as the Sales Enablement - Coaching & Development Lead.

Kari Burgess has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours degree in Acting from the University of Saskatchewan, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. In 2003, they received a Certified Tourism Professional certification in Heritage Interpreter from the Saskatchewan Tourism Education Council. In 2006 to 2007, they earned a Diploma in Acting for Film and Television from Vancouver Film School. Most recently, in 2019, they obtained a Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Victoria.
