Christine Willmsen is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as the Senior Investigations Editor/Reporter at WBUR, where leadership involves crafting impactful investigative stories. With a diverse portfolio, Christine also operates The Solo Cook, a food blog focused on single living, while contributing as a copy editor for SIP Northwest Magazine and CIDERCRAFT. Previous roles include a journalist at The Seattle Times, where projects emphasized race and gender, and a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, selected for exemplary journalism. Additional experience encompasses freelance book editing, and positions at the Dayton Daily News and The Daily Times, as well as a communications specialist role at Planned Parenthood. Christine holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Spanish from Simpson College and further academic enrichment from Harvard University.
