Josie Guarino is an experienced news professional with a background in broadcasting and journalism. Currently serving as a News Anchor and News Writer at WBUR since September 2016, Josie has previously worked as a Fill-in News Anchor and Weekend Host at WRNI Rhode Island Public Radio from September 2011 to September 2016. Early career positions include News Reporter/Anchor at Citadel WPRO from April 2008 to September 2011 and Freelance Field Producer for CBS News between January 2002 and February 2010, where responsibilities included on-camera interviews and research for significant stories. Additionally, Josie held the position of T.V. Anchor/Reporter at WLNE ABC 6 from 2002 to 2008. Josie is a graduate of Emerson College, holding a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.
