Doug Tait

Doug Tait has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the construction industry. Doug started their career in 1978 as a Laborer/Estimator at Stanley Construction Company, Inc., where they worked until 1981. Doug then moved to R.R. Snipes Construction, Inc. in 1982, where they worked as a Pipelayer for a year. In 1983, they joined Schnabel Engineering as a Staff Engineer before transitioning to W.C. Spratt, Inc. in 1984. At W.C. Spratt, Inc., Doug held multiple roles including Foreman from 1984 to 1986, Project Manager from 1986 to 1990, Construction Manager from 1990 to 1992, and finally President from 1992 until present. Overall, Doug Tait has gained extensive experience and expertise in construction management and leadership throughout their career.

Doug Tait earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech between 1979 and 1983.
