Matt A. Anderson

Matt A. Anderson, PhD, RBP(ABSA), CBSP(ABSA) is an experienced biosafety and biosurety professional currently serving as a Sr. Biosafety/Biosurety Officer at MRIGlobal since February 2024. With significant contributions as an IBC Member at WCG IRB since 2010, and previously as a Biosafety Consultant at Clinical Biosafety Services from May 2019 to February 2024, Matt has extensive expertise in managing biosafety programs, demonstrated by overseeing a program that expanded from 80 to over 180 investigators at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where Matt served as Biosafety Officer and Responsible Official for 15 years. Prior experience includes a biosafety postdoctoral fellowship and research roles at Washington University School of Medicine, including various research projects related to biosafety and chemical biology. Matt holds a PhD in Chemical Biology from Washington University and a BA in Chemistry, Biology, and Spanish from Dana College.
