Ron Thornton

Ron Thornton is a seasoned executive with extensive expertise in business development and sales leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development and General Manager of Velos, LLC at WIRB-Copernicus Group since April 2019, Ron has been instrumental in revamping a struggling software company to improve customer experience and expand its customer base. Concurrently, Ron holds the position of Senior Director of Sales at Constellation Software Inc., where recognition as a Sales Leader includes providing training and mentorship to foster predictive revenue growth. From January 2010 to March 2018, Ron was the CEO of Topaz Technologies, responsible for enhancing cash flow and business growth under the oversight of a Private Equity Board. Earlier in Ron's career, various roles in sales at Enterprise Software Companies from 1999 to December 2009 included top-performing positions, solidifying Ron's reputation in the Enterprise Resource Planning software market. Educationally, Ron holds a BS in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
