Destiny Richards

Destiny Richards is a skilled broadcast journalist currently serving as a Morning Reporter/MSJ at WCNC Charlotte since August 2023. Prior to this role, Destiny has extensive experience as a Morning Reporter/MMJ for KXLY TV from January 2020 to July 2023 and as a Reporter/MMJ at KFDA - NewsChannel 10 from November 2017 to December 2019, where responsibilities included dayside reporting. Destiny began in the field as a PBS Production Specialist with FYI Television, Inc. and gained practicum experience as a Reporter/Anchor with NTDaily News. Destiny holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Texas, completed in 2016.
