Jan Kurkus

Jan Kurkus has extensive work experience in the heat exchangers industry. Jan most recently worked as the Director of Operations at WCR - Heat Exchangers starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the General Manager and Factory Manager at Alfa Laval from 2015 to 2023. Jan also held various roles at GEA Heat Exchangers Inc., including Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director, where they achieved impressive results such as a 345% increase in sales. Earlier in their career, they worked at Volvo Construction Equipment as a Project Manager, where they led a rationalization project.

Jan Kurkus obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lund University. This education was completed between 1990 and 1996. Additionally, Jan Kurkus obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Alfa Laval in December 2020.
