Sophia Efiom

Sophia Efiom is a Creative Services Producer at WDEF-TV since September 2022, specializing in marketing production, commercial production, videography, and social media content. As Co-Director of the Media Outreach Ministry at New Home Missionary Baptist Church since November 2015, Sophia films, produces, and edits interviews, events, and sermons weekly while managing social media. Previous experience includes roles such as Assistant Manager at Breakout Games and Teacher's Assistant/Art and Media Director at Adonai Academy, where Sophia produced a documentary and edited summer camp events. Freelance work as a video editor includes collaborations with the Chattanooga Fire Department and several wedding and conference projects. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an Associate's degree from Chattanooga State Community College.
