Roy Montgomery

Roy Montgomery has extensive experience in the broadcast engineering field, currently serving as a Broadcast Engineer at WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit since May 2022. Prior to this role, Roy held the same position at WTOL 11 from February 2019 to May 2022 and worked as a Broadcast Technician at WBGU from March 2001 to December 2016. Key responsibilities have included broadcast signal monitoring, equipment installation and operation, engineering support for broadcasting and production operations, quality checks for programs and promotions, creation and manipulation of ESPN3 graphics, as well as training and supervising students and staff. Additionally, Roy has managed computer, network, and server maintenance and served as a 2nd shift building supervisor.
