Bob Ellis

Bob Ellis is an experienced media executive currently serving as the Vice President and General Manager at WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit since October 2021. Prior to this role, Bob held similar positions as Vice President and General Manager at WJXT from March 2009 to November 2021, where Bob oversaw both WJXT TV and WCWJ TV. Bob's career in broadcasting also includes a tenure as News Director and Assistant News Director at WDIV-TV from April 2002 to March 2009. Bob Ellis is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication and completed the Broadcast Leadership Training Program at the National Association of Broadcasters between 2019 and 2020.
