Eric Steinhaus

Eric Steinhaus has over 40 years of experience in the television industry, including a notable tenure at WDIV-TV where Eric has served as Engineering Operations Manager since June 2000. In this role, Eric managed daily studio and Master Control operations, acted as a liaison to the news department, and oversaw the maintenance of the news fleet. Previously, Eric was an Engineering Sales Manager at Communications System Group, where responsibilities included visualizing, designing, and supervising video production facility projects. Eric's career began at WDIV-TV in 1981 as a technician, earning recognition as an Emmy award-winning post-production editor. Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University, obtained between 1976 and 1980. As of May 1, 2020, Eric is retired.
