Mike Augustine

Mike Augustine is a seasoned broadcast maintenance engineer currently employed at WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit since January 2022. Previously, Mike served as a UCC Solutions Engineer at Oracle, where responsibilities included providing global engineering support for video collaboration services. Additional experience includes roles at General Motors, focusing on security engineering and firewall support, and at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where Mike was involved in the design and implementation of streaming video systems. Mike started a career as an infrastructure specialist at Electronic Data Systems, leading a diverse team on a global streaming video project. Earlier experience as a video engineer at Hughes Network Systems involved designing a multi-channel video network for corporate training. Mike's foundational work as a senior communication specialist at Electronic Data Systems included critical maintenance and repair of earth station systems. Education includes technical training in cryptology from the US Army, with current secret clearance.
