Rob Spiers

Rob Spiers currently serves as Broadcast Technology Manager at WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit since August 2021. With a diverse background as a freelance broadcast professional from May 2013 to December 2021, notable achievements include producing the Rugby World Cup Radio World Feed and engineering VAR communications during prominent tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup in Russia and the AFC Cup in Abu Dhabi. Prior experience includes directing rob spiers associates and sharpstream, where Rob managed media streaming projects and engineered broadcast solutions for major sports events. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Brighton and a B.Eng (Hons) in Electroacoustics from The University of Salford.
