Lauren Maiden

Lauren Maiden is an experienced News Producer with a solid background in managing morning and evening TV news broadcasts. Since March 2021, Lauren has been with WDSU-TV, overseeing the morning news broadcast. Prior to this role, Lauren worked at NewsWest 9 from September 2018 to March 2021, where responsibilities included curating news content and organizing the show structure. Additional experience includes a work-study position at Louisiana State University’s African American Cultural Center as a Front Desk Receptionist and an internship at WWL-TV Channel 4, where Lauren supported news reporters and production teams. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Louisiana State University, completed in May 2018, and graduated with a high school diploma from Archbishop Chapelle High School in May 2012.
