Nick Vajda

Nick Vajda has extensive experience in finance and operations roles. Nick currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at We Are BMF since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at M Booth Health from October 2019 to June 2022 as the Director of Finance and Operations. In this role, they managed finance, operational, and HR activities and supervised month-end close processes.

Before M Booth Health, Nick worked at Health Unlimited from April 2018 to September 2019, where they held positions as the Director of Finance and Operations and Finance Director. Nick managed finance, operational, and HR activities for three companies and was responsible for supervising month-end close processes, P&L reporting, revenue recognition, and bank reconciliation. Nick also created and managed yearly budgets and oversaw reforecasts.

Prior to Health Unlimited, Nick worked as the Finance Director at Cooney/Waters Group from July 2013 to June 2017. During their time there, they supervised month-end close processes, created and managed yearly budgets, and oversaw reforecasts.

Before joining Cooney/Waters Group, Nick served as the VP, Senior Financial Operations Manager at Cooney Waters / Alembic Health Communications / The Corkery Group from July 2012 to July 2013. In this role, they managed day-to-day financial operations, worked with account services and clients to maximize revenue, and collaborated with the CFO for accurate reporting during month-end.

Nick also has experience as a Freelance Finance & Operations Project Manager, working as an independent contractor for professional service firms from June 2010 to July 2012. Nick specialized in identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in finance departments, creating reports, offering financial analysis, and managing financial systems implementations and upgrades.

Earlier in their career, Nick worked at G2 US as the Director of Client Finance from August 2009 to 2010. Prior to G2 US, they held various roles at G2 Branding & Design from October 2006 to 2010, including Business Manager and AP/AR Manager. Nick also worked as a Business Manager at G2 New York, US from 2004 to 2010.

Nick Vajda attended Heidelberg American High School from 1993 to 1997, where they earned their High School Diploma. After completing their high school education, they went on to attend St. Mary's College of Maryland from 1997 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and German.
