Garrett Dearey has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Garrett started their career in 1996 as Deputy Editor at Friends of the Earth and later worked as Deputy Editor at Inside Sport. In 1998, they served as Features Editor at Information Technology Publishing, followed by an editorial role at Metia in 1999. From 2001 to 2005, Garrett worked at T-Mobile as an International Online Manager. Garrett then joined Positive Digital as an Associate Director from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, they became the Head of Agency and Digital/Board Director at Illustrated London News. In 2013, they moved to FutureBrand as the Head of Strategic Development. Garrett then joined Bacardi in 2014 as Consumer Experience & Engagement specialist. Garrett currently holds the position of Global Head of Growth at We Are Social, where they have also held previous roles such as Global Head of Partnerships and Client Partner.
Garrett Dearey attended Blackrock College from 1985 to 1991. Garrett then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, Media, and Public Relations at Bournemouth University from 1991 to 1995.
