Carolina Montealegre

Carolina Montealegre is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Associate at WE Family Offices since October 2020, previously holding the role of Analyst. Prior to this, Carolina worked as an Operations Associate at Thomas J. Herzfeld Advisors, Inc. from September 2019 to October 2020, and in the Investment Operations Department at Santander Private Banking International from July 2015 to May 2018. Earlier experience includes an internship at Beta Capital Management in June 2014 and a seminar role at Casa McGregor, S.A. in August 2012. Carolina also completed an internship at LAFISE in the summer of 2012. Academically, Carolina holds a Master of Business Administration from IE Business School (2018-2019) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from the University of Virginia (2011-2015), along with a Business Certificate from the McIntire Business Institute and participation in the Semester at Sea program. Caroline earned a high school diploma and Nicaraguan Bachillerato from the American Nicaraguan School (1997-2011).
