Celine Herweijer

Celine Herweijer is the Group Chief Sustainability Officer at HSBC, and a Group Executive Committee member. Celine also serves as the Co-Chair at WE MEAN BUSINESS, and as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Blue Marine Foundation. With a background in sustainability and innovation, Celine was previously a Partner at PwC leading Sustainability and Innovation globally. Prior to that, Celine held roles at Risk Management Solutions and Lighthill Risk Network. Celine holds a Ph.D. in Climate Modelling and Policy from Columbia University, among other degrees from esteemed institutions.
